This training is designed to prepare expatriates for their stay in China. A well prepared expat with insight in the foreign culture, who can speak some basic Chinese and who enjoys the support of his/her family, has a better chance of succeeding in China.
This cross cultural training helps expatriates understand the culture of the target destination. An important step toward reaching this goal is becoming aware of one’s own cultural background and its consequences on work ethics, management styles and leadership. A person who is interculturally competent captures and understands the specific concepts in perception, thinking, feeling and acting of the target culture. He/she is unprejudiced and has a real desire to learn.
All participants benefit from the highlighting of cross cultural differences they will face in their new office and/or lifestyle.
